August 2010 Earlier He remembers getting on the bus to leave Kodai – David was leading a crew to see him off. Back in the states, sports was a big thing for him, particularly football and wrestling,. An adventure he remembers is a class trip. We had gone down the ghat for a camping trip. That night around the camp fire Jim Graham was reading to us from Jim Corbets stories of man eating tigers. From across the valley came the roar of either a tiger or panther. Regardless , all of us charged back to the forest rangers house, locked the doors and windows.,and spent the rest of the night speculating on how bravely we would defend ourselves against this viscous cat. Not bad for 6th or 7th grade boys. Bob has 2 masters degrees and he is presently writing hid doctoral dissertation on the effects of divorce on grandparents.
